Within the 50-day period given by U.S. President Donald Trump to Russian leader Vladimir Putin to agree to a ceasefire, Ukraine will be able to gather enough strength and resources to shift the overall situation in its resistance against Russia.
Axar.az reports that these remarks were made by former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko.
“My expectation from these 50 days is that Ukraine will be able to gather enough means and forces for Russia to understand — it is not the only one capable of bombing capitals. That is my only expectation, and it seems this could play a very serious role in the overall situation. Furthermore, the noose around the neck of Russia’s ‘dead’ economy continues to tighten,” Ohryzko emphasized.
He also reminded that Ukraine’s allies are preparing new sanction packages against Russia, and although this pressure may not completely “strangle” the Russian economy, it will not allow it to grow quietly and freely, constantly hindering Moscow’s capabilities.
It should be noted that Trump has threatened Russia with sanctions and given a 50-day deadline.
