Russia is firmly opposed to NATO increasing its activity in the North Sea.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Russia’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Vladimir Tarabrin.

“Russia is firmly opposed to NATO increasing its activity in the North Sea, as it will further destabilize the security situation in Europe, which is already far from stable,” the ambassador said.

According to the diplomat, NATO intends to turn the Netherlands into a logistics hub for transporting military contingents and supplies from the Atlantic Ocean into the depths of Europe.
