German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer held a telephone conversation.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the German government.

“On the morning of July 26, I had an in-depth phone call with the President of France and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. We discussed our course in the Middle East. Important agreements were reached with Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer. In the coming days, we will take the next steps in very close coordination,” the German government’s press service quoted Merz as saying.

It should be noted that Macron previously announced that France would officially recognize Palestine in September.
