Fidan hopes for a Russia–US–Ukraine Summit in Istanbul

I hope that the leaders of Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will meet soon in Istanbul.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

"I hope that this will happen soon. I believe that all three leaders will come together in Istanbul under the leadership of our president," Fidan said.

According to him, the agenda of the talks included the issue of a possible meeting of the leaders:

"Russia and Ukraine have expressed their good intentions regarding a possible meeting in Istanbul. Our president strongly believes that a summit can be held, and he wants to speed up this process a little. But for such a meeting, progress is needed at the delegation level."
