He plays the ever unflappable Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible: Fallout. reports citing Daily Mail.

Yet Tom Cruise proved that in reality he still suffers the odd blunder, as he was seen attending the movie premiere in Tokyo on Wednesday with his trouser zip undone.

Accidentally exposing too much, the 56-year-old actor didn't seem to be aware of the mishap, happily waving and smiling for fans before heading into the press conference and photo call.

Despite the wardrobe malfunction, the Top Gun star still looked dapper on the outing as he teamed a sharp three-piece black suit with a pink shirt and tie.

Once inside the venue, Tom appeared to notice the mishap as he took to the stage with his trousers pulled up alongside co-stars Henry Cavill, Christopher McQuarrie, Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg.

Meanwhile, Tom recently revealed his ankle still hasn't fully healed from the horrific accident he suffered on the set of MI:F

Speaking with Alison Hammond on Friday's edition of This Morning, the screen star admitted that his ankle is still broken following the stunt 11 months ago, but insisted he's gone through 'great rehab' as he's on the road to recovery.

During his interview in Paris, France, TV presenter Alison, 43, kicked off their discussion by inviting the star to talk about his stunts.

Tom - who sustained the injury after smashing into the side of a building - shared: 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout is jam-packed with action... I've been doing this my whole life, climbing on trees, breaking bones.'

'I broke an ankle, so they were concerned with running the film. Even though it's still broken, I went through great rehab.'

Paramount's full statement read: 'During production on the latest Mission: Impossible film, Tom Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt.

'Production will go on hiatus while Tom makes a full recovery, and the film remains on schedule to open July 27, 2018.

'Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can't wait to share the film with everyone next summer.'

The latest film in the Mission Impossible franchise, titled Fallout, will find the titular Ethan Hunt and IMF team 'race against time after a mission gone wrong'.
