Teacher is banned from wearing sexy grey dress

A fourth-grade teacher was scolded by her bosses for wearing an 'inappropriate' grey dress and knee-high boots to teach her class.

Axar.az reports citing Dailymail that, the unnamed teacher, who works at AN unidentified US school, was stunned when her choice of outfit was deemed unsuitable for her to teach nine and ten-year-olds.

A photograph of the woman, with her face blocked out, was posted to a Facebook page last week sparking a furious debate.

The teacher posed in the form-fitting grey dress tapered in around the waist with a thin black belt buckle.

Her choice of outfit exposes her arms and a flash of her collarbones, while she wore a pair of knee-high leather boots over a pair of black tights - which her superiors felt to be the wrong choice of attire for such young children.

The picture ignited a frenzied debate online with more than 1,200 comments either defending or slamming her garb.

Many who read the post could not decide what was wrong with the outfit, though some called attention to the teacher's boots. Now a debate has broken out in the comments, with more than 1,200 comments so far.

Tammy Dimmond-Tracy wrote: 'It's probably the other frumpy teachers that were complaining because they are jealous. She looks great!!!! It's not fair for the ones that actually take care of themselves to get punished.'

One said: 'This is ridiculous that anyone thinks her shoes defines her outfit in a professional setting. They have healed shoes, not sandals, not open toe, not clown shoes, and she is teaching 4th grade. Not overly-hormonal high school boys.'

Added another: 'I think she looks good even for school. What's pathetic is when I see teenage girls wear sl****** outfits and don't get sent home.'

While Heather Spitler commented: 'I think she looks fine. I feel like if she was wearing black leggings underneath that dress and a pair of black flats nobody would say anything but it's just the stigma that comes with the boots.'
