Over the past day, the enemy has repeatedly violated the humanitarian ceasefire.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from spokesman for the Defense Ministry's press service, Lieutenant-Colonel Anar Eyvazov at a briefing for foreign military attaches accredited in Azerbaijan and representatives of international organizations (UN, EU, ICRC).

Eyvazov said that Azerbaijan adheres to the new humanitarian ceasefire.

"Our army is taking only adequate measures in response to enemy provocations. Armenia must put an end to provocative actions aimed at aggravating the situation. Armenia must understand that the restored borders are not a conflict zone, but the inviolability of the state border must be ensured. Azerbaijan has the right to destroy any legitimate targets that threaten its territory, regardless of its location."
