Khamsa ballet premiered in Batumi

Khamsa ballt premiered in the Summer theatre of Batumi. The ballet is based on the same named collection of five poems by Azerbaijani poet and thinker, Nizami Ganjavi.

According to the General Consulate of Azerbaijan in Batumi, the initiative for the premier belongs to the President of Georgian association Dialogue of Cultures – 21st century, Valeri Asatiani. The ballet was performed by the Tbilisi modern ballet named after Georgi Aleksidze, under artistic supervision of Maryam Aleksidze’s chamber troupe.

Its music was written by a composer and singer, Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Russia, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan and honourable citizen of Tbilisi, Polad Bulbuloghlu.

General Consulate of Azerbaijan in Batumi, Rashid Ismayilov has come to the premier.
