Gold price drops to lowest since October 2021

The price of gold dropped on Wednesday, reaching the lowest point since October 2021 and going below $1,755.

Axar.az informs that the strengthening of the dollar seemingly pulled investors away from the bullion.

Gold fell by 0.77% at 10:41 am ET to sell for $1,751.67 per ounce. At the same time, silver lost 0.42% at 10:41 am ET, to go for $19.15 per ounce. Platinum declined 1.23% at 10:42 am ET, selling for $885.27 per ounce, while palladium added 0.16% to go for $1,942.00 per ounce.
