The Turkish lira fell to a record level

The Turkish lira fell to a new record level today.

Axar.az reports that currently 1 dollar is equal to 18.96 lira.

It is noted that the depreciation of Turkiye's national currency is related to investors' assessments of the economic consequences of the strong earthquakes that occurred in the country in February this year.

It should be noted that the dollar has been stable around 18.5 lira in Turkiye for almost 6 months.
