Dagestan leader proposes to commission railway

Ramazan Abdulatipov, head of Russia's Dagestan Republic, has proposed to commission the Derbent-Baku railway.


Abdulatipov made this statement during a meeting with Vladimir Pyastolov, chief of North Caucasus Railway on Thursday.


There is a need to commence the construction of railway infrastructure and border crossing point on the border with Azerbaijan, he stressed.
