Turkiye and Azerbaijan created a new company

Turkiye and Azerbaijan have created a new company to supply gas to the European market.

Axar.az reports that Fateh Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkiye, said this in a statement to the country's press.

"Azerbaijan's national company SOCAR is one of the biggest investors in Turkiye. This cooperation will also take place in third countries. So, BOTAS and SOCAR created a new company. We will also sell gas to Europe. We said that we will become a gas trading center. Azerbaijan also supports this. Balkan countries demand gas from us and Azerbaijan. We will act together on this issue," said the minister.
