Azerbaijan’s Finance Minister Samir Sharifov has announced the basic parameters of changes to be made to the state budget.

Axar.az reports that according to the minister, as an implementation of President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, it is necessary to make changes in the state budget for the implementation of the tasks facing the country.

“President showed the main directions in his speech. First, the financing program for the projects covered by the Great Return program is being implemented rapidly. Another direction is related to the strengthening of the country’s defense capability. The additional fund is needed for this. Therefore it is planned to reconsider the budget. Moreover, other issues will also be reflected in the changes.”
