Oil demand is approaching record levels - Qays

Oil demand is expected to increase to 110 million barrels per day. This proves that oil will continue to be an important part of the global energy infrastructure in the coming decades.

Axar.az reports that OPEC Secretary General Haytam al-Qays made this statement.

"This is in stark contrast to many claims of the end of the oil era in recent decades. Indeed, modern demand is near an all-time high and will increase by about 5 million barrels per day in 2023 and 2024.

Currently, no energy type can meet the expected future demand for energy. Instead, an "all people, all fuels, all technologies" approach is required, Keys noted.
