Iraq will stop importing oil products

Iraq plans to completely stop importing oil products to the country in 2024.

Axar.az reports that Asem Jihad, the official representative of the Oil Ministry of Iraq, said this.

"In 2024, Iraq will rely more on domestic production and after several refineries start production, there will be a decrease in imports," the representative said.

It should be noted that Iraq imports some oil products to fill the domestic market shortage.
