Uzbekistan and Afghanistan have signed five contracts worth $1.15 billion.

Axar.az reports that the Taliban government has released this information.

"The documents pertain to the exploration of mineral deposits, the study of the Afghanistan-Tajikistan oil and gas basin, as well as the production of 120 MW of electricity at a gas power plant," the statement said.
