Russia has alternative gas routes to Europe

Russia has alternative routes for gas delivery to Europe.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said this.

“The plan to create a gas hub in Turkiye is relevant and work is ongoing on this. Of course, such decisions by the Ukrainian side will primarily harm European consumers who still prefer Russian gas, which is more reliable and cost-effective compared to other goods coming from the U.S. They will have to pay more, making their industries less competitive,” Peskov said.

It should be noted that yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that there will be no agreement with Russia on continuing gas transit through Ukrainian territory.
