A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook the eastern Egyptian province of Hurghada.
Axar.az informs that, the Egyptian Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics has issued a statement in this regard.
It was noted that the tremors were also felt in the Red Sea region and Upper Egypt.
No casualties or damage were reported. A 5.6-magnitude earthquake shook the region of Egypt in 1992, killing 541 people.
