Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using 60 mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 110 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on April 8.

Armenian armed units stationed in the villages Dovekh, Voskepar, Barekamavan of Armenia’s Noyemberyan district, Berkaber, Paravakar of Ijevan district, Aygepar village of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces on nameless uplands and in Kamarli, Mazam, Gaymagli, Gizilhajili villages of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Alibayli village of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay and Julfa districts came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk and Sisian districts.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in village Gulustan of Goranboy district, Goyarkh, Chilaburt, Yarimcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Yusifjanli, Garagashli, Marzili villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 114 strikes on enemy positions.
