On December 10, under the leadership of the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, a Collegium meeting of the Ministry of Defense regarding the results of 2022 was held.

Axar.az reports citing MoD that the meeting was attended by deputy ministers, troop commanders, heads of the ministry's headquarters, departments, services and independent departments, commanders of military units and formations deployed in the liberated areas via video link, as well as heads of special education institutions.

Speaking at the end of the meeting, colonel-general Z. Hasanov noted that the joint exercises contributed to ensuring sustainable peace and security in the region.

Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov issued relevant instructions on the continuous monitoring and further strengthening of control over the activities of illegal Armenian armed groups in the territories where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed in the Karabakh economic region, the Minister said about this at the Board meeting of the Ministry of Defense, APA reports.

During the service meeting, the minister gave specific instructions on the engineering measures taken in the liberated areas.
