Axar.az reports that during the tour, the dignitary visited the "Shirvanshahs palace complex", a masterpiece of medieval Eastern architecture, a world-important historical-architectural monument.
It was reported that the buildings of the historical monument built at the beginning of the 15th century are located on the highest point of one of the hills of the Old City. It is visible from the Caspian Sea and the heights around the city. The complex retains its historical-architectural advantage to this day.
During a walk along the Small Gala Street, the President of Iraq was informed about the "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architecture Reserve, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, and the improvement and restoration works carried out here. It was noted that there are rare historical architectural monuments of different centuries in the territory of Icherisheher and they are protected by the state.
