22-year-old Zeynab Chelik won the municipal elections held yesterday in the Galxim settlement of the Yenije district of Turkiye's Canakkale province.

Axar.az reports that according to preliminary results, Zeynab Chelik was the mayor of Galkhim.

With this, Çelik won the title of the youngest female mayor of Turkiye.
