The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Azerbaijan, Mohammed Al-Blooshi, visited the Azerbaijan University of Languages.
Axar.az reports that the rector of the university, academician Kamal Abdulla, warmly welcomed the ambassador and expressed his pleasure at having him at the university.
Emphasizing the importance of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, the rector noted that the opening of the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Classroom at ADU in June this year is a testament to the level of cooperation between our countries. It was also mentioned that this center provides excellent opportunities to learn more about the culture and history of the United Arab Emirates.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and kind words, Mohammed Al-Blooshi stated that the economic, political, and cultural relations between our countries are currently developing on an upward trajectory. The ambassador thanked the rector of ADU, Kamal Abdulla, for his support in the opening of the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Classroom and expressed his confidence that the activities of this institution would play a significant role in further strengthening the ties between our peoples.
Following the discussions on future scientific cooperation and teacher-student exchanges, Mohammed Al-Blooshi met with students during the "Ambassador Hour" in the Sheikh Zayed Arabic Language Classroom, where he delivered a lecture titled "Education in the United Arab Emirates." The ambassador then answered students' questions, which sparked their interest in the topic, providing extensive information about opportunities for studying in the UAE. Students recited poetry in Arabic.
The meeting concluded with a presentation of a video about universities in the United Arab Emirates.
