Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev will soon visit the city of Astara in Iran to conduct a field inspection and review the latest progress of the joint projects.

Axar.az informs, citing Mehr news agency, Farzaneh Sadegh, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, during her official meeting with Shahin Mustafayev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries, emphasized the development of economic and executive cooperation, especially regarding joint border projects.

The meeting, held within the framework of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan, included discussions and exchange of views on the latest status of joint projects in border areas.

During a meeting, both sides agreed to conduct a field visit to Astara to review the latest status of joint border projects.

During this visit, various economic issues between the two countries will be discussed within the framework of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation. The parties will negotiate and exchange views on how to advance the projects and remove any potential obstacles.
