Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has met with Iranian Vice President Hamid Pourmohammadi.
Axar.az reports that Grigoryan considered the meeting a valuable opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest and highly appreciated the official visit to Armenia by the delegation led by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the agenda of Armenia-Iran bilateral relations and regional developments. Both parties emphasized the importance of opening regional communication and transport corridors in full respect for countries' territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and the principle of reciprocity.
Grigoryan reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to further develop relations with Iran and highlighted the great potential in trade and economic cooperation. The sides agreed to organize discussions in working group formats on several key issues to ensure more effective and constructive solutions.
