Azerbaijan urges global action for missing persons at UNGA

At the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), a call was made regarding Azerbaijan’s 4,000 missing persons.

Axar.az reports that within the framework of the UN’s 80th session, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov participated in a high-level meeting on the topic “Missing persons in armed conflicts: Expanding the search for answers.”

In his statement, the Deputy Minister drew attention to the fate of nearly 4,000 Azerbaijanis missing as a result of Armenia’s aggression, urging increased international efforts to ensure truth and justice.
