The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan is closely monitoring information and reports about the attack by Iranian drones on the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az infroms the embassy stated that Iranian drones have long become an instrument of terror. It is precisely this weapon that the Iranian regime has supplied to Russia, which uses it to strike Ukrainian cities, civilian infrastructure, and peaceful civilians.

"As emphasized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrij Sybiha: “We always stand with the Iranian people — with the people themselves. The Iranian regime has for decades terrorized the region and supports and finances terrorist groups that bring instability to other countries.”

Ukraine knows well the threat posed by regimes that disregard international law, human dignity, and human life.

We express our support and solidarity with Azerbaijan and call on everyone to unite in strengthening efforts to counter regimes that undermine global security and threaten the future of our nations," the embassy wrote on Facebook.
