On March 5, Turkiye's Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler, held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Minister of Defense, General-Colonel Zakir Hasanov.

Axar.az informs that the sides discussed the acts of attack carried out by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran from Iranian territory using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeting the Nakhchivan International Airport and other civilian infrastructure in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The ministers also held an extensive exchange of views on relations between the countries, as well as the situation in the region, and security issues.
