French MFA expressed solidarity with Azerbaijan

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its full solidarity with Azerbaijan regarding Iran’s attack on Nakhchivan.

Axar.az informs this was stated in a press release from the French Foreign Ministry.

“France strongly condemns the drone attack carried out by Iran this morning on Nakhchivan International Airport in Azerbaijan. France wishes a speedy recovery to the four people injured during this attack,” the statement said.

It should be recalled that on March 5, Iran carried out drone attacks on facilities in the Nakhchivan territory. One drone struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, while another landed near a school building in Shakarabad village. The airport attack injured four civilians. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilu, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Azerbaijan reserves the right to deliver a retaliatory strike.
