On March 6, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, called Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az informs, citing the Foreign Ministry of the Azerbaijan, during the phone call, the sides exchanged views on the drone attacks carried out against Azerbaijan’s territory and the current security situation.

Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan strongly condemned the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, stressing that such actions are unacceptable.

The ministers also expressed concern over the rising tensions in the Middle East and noted the importance of preventing further escalation.

They also discussed prospects for further developing the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
