Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev is set to make an official visit to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az informs that the announcement was made on the Telegram channel of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ahead of the visit, the ministry shared an infographic highlighting the dynamics of bilateral cooperation.

The infographic noted that in 2025, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan reached $470 million.

It also reported that 1,518 Azerbaijani companies operate in Kazakhstan, and direct foreign investments from Azerbaijan have totaled $220.1 million since 2013.

The ministry highlighted developments in the transit and transport sector.

“The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route has gained new momentum. Over the past seven years, cargo volumes have increased fivefold—from 0.8 million tons per year to 4.5 million tons. The potential is up to 10 million tons annually,” the infographic stated.
