Paris is trying to win the Karabakh issue with false statements.
Axar.az reports that Maria Zakharova, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said this while responding to French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna's statement that Moscow has not fulfilled its obligations regarding the tripartite declaration.
"France should not talk about obligations. France was the co-author and guarantor of the implementation of the Minsk agreements on Ukraine. "If I were Catherine Colonna, I would be silent about the guarantees and obligations of France, which considers itself a mediator, to regulate relations between the countries," said Zakharova.
According to Zakharova, Colonna's statements in Yerevan are lies and an attempt to play with the Karabakh problem and the dire humanitarian situation of the Armenian population who left the region:
"Russia stopped the bloodshed on November 9, 2020, agreed on a series of tripartite statements for 2020-2022, and a "road map" for the reconciliation of Baku and Yerevan. What did France, Brussels and the whole EU do? Just something to present to the world community."
