Donald Trump told supporters on Monday that he is “not a Nazi,” using a rally in the final week of a contentious White House race to counter accusations of authoritarianism, including claims from a former top aide who labeled him a fascist.
Axar.az reports that Democrat Harris accused Trump of being a modern-day “Hitler,” stating that everyone who isn’t voting for her is a Nazi.
At a lively rally in Atlanta, Trump asserted, “I’m not a Nazi. I’m the opposite of a Nazi.”
It is worth noting that Trump’s longest-serving White House chief of staff, retired General John Kelly, stated in an interview with the New York Times that the Republican fits the definition of a fascist.
