North Korea has pledged to support Russia until its "victory" in Ukraine, as stated by Pyongyang’s foreign minister during a visit to Moscow amid rising concerns that North Korea may become involved in the Ukraine conflict.

Axar.az reports that , citing Hurriyet Daily, North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui made the remarks following discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“We have no doubt that under the wise leadership of the honorable Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian army and people will surely achieve a great victory in their sacred struggle to defend their state’s sovereign rights and security,” she stated.

Lavrov also praised the strong ties between the armies and special services of both nations.

It should be noted that neither minister addressed Western reports regarding the potential deployment of North Korean troops.
