Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski hopes that NATO and the U.S. will change their positions and allow allied air defense forces to strike Russian missiles over Ukrainian territory.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Pavel Vronski, a representative of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

He noted that Sikorski's personal opinion on the necessity for allied forces to intercept Russian missiles flying toward Poland over Ukraine is already well-known.

At the same time, the representative emphasized that the Polish minister has faced criticism within NATO for his firm stance.
