South Korea’s Constitutional Court has rejected the National Assembly’s arguments for the impeachment of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and reinstated him.

Axar.az reports that the court’s press service announced this decision.

"On March 24, the court decided to dismiss the impeachment request against Prime Minister Han Duck-soo," the statement said.

Rеports indicate that out of eight judges, only one voted in favor of impeachment.

With this ruling, Han Duck-soo has returned to his position as prime minister, regaining his executive powers.
