Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has informed some of his team members that Armenia is very likely to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in February of next year.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Hraparak newspaper.

It should be noted that in February of last year, Pashinyan announced that Armenia had frozen its membership in the organization.

Before that, for months, various government officials had been criticizing the CSTO for failing to fulfill its obligations and stated that this was the reason for freezing the membership.

According to Pashinyan, Armenia has not participated in CSTO processes since September 2023.
