Silk Way begins flights through Armenian airspace

Aircraft of Azerbaijan’s cargo airline “Silk Way” have begun flights through Armenian airspace.

Axar.az reports, citing Sputnik Armenia.

The publication claimed that a recent flight over Armenian airspace was recorded on the Flightradar24 service. The plane flew from Nakhchivan to Baku.

Previously, cargo planes had flown from Azerbaijan’s capital to Nakhchivan via Georgia and Turkey.

Armaeronavigation confirmed the flight over Armenian territory, noting that this was not the first such flight: similar flights occurred in 2025 due to difficult weather conditions.
