Azerbaijan–US strategic partnership talks continue

The second meeting of the Strategic Working Group on the preparation of the Strategic Partnership Charter between Azerbaijan and the United States of America was held.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published information about this.

It was noted that the meeting was held in an online format under the leadership of Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Coulter.

At the meeting, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on the preparation of the Strategic Partnership Charter signed between Azerbaijan and the United States in August last year within the framework of the Washington Peace Summit, an exchange of views was held on the development of strategic partnership between the two countries in areas such as energy, trade, regional connections including transit, economic investment, defense and security, counterterrorism, as well as artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

Discussions continued on the text of the document to finalize the Strategic Partnership Charter.
