Another phase of resettlement to the liberated village of Shukurbeyli in Jabrayil District took place, with families departing in the early morning and finally returning to their native homeland.
Axar.az reports that Shukurbeyli village welcomed 535 residents from 119 families today. The families stepped into the newly rebuilt village and witnessed the beauty created in their ancestral lands.
It should be noted that the village has been fully reconstructed in line with modern standards, with all necessary infrastructure established to ensure comfortable living conditions for residents.
The village includes two nursery-kindergartens with a capacity of 80 children each, a school building for 360 students, a medical center, a music school, a club-community center, and an administrative building for local executive authorities. In addition, a 35/10 kV electrical substation has been built, while electricity, natural gas, drinking water, communication, internet, and IPTV networks have been installed, and internal roads have been asphalted. At the initial stage, 635 private houses have been commissioned. Of these, 615 are allocated for residents and 20 for official use. The modern-style homes consist of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-room layouts.
Overall, 615 families comprising 2,522 people — including former residents of the district’s Shikhaliagali and Dajal villages, as well as the Mahmudlu settlement — are expected to be resettled in Shukurbeyli.
