‘The Concentration Camp’ book published

“The Concentration Camp” book has been published within the framework of the “Justice for Khojaly!” international awareness campaign.

Axar.az reports that, authored by journalist Vusala Mammadova and published by TEAS Press Publishing House, the book has been compiled based on the same-titled project published by Lent.az information portal.

Nine stories included in the new book deal with the tortures and violence faced by those who taken hostage and captured by Armenians during the Karabakh War. The book has been written based on true stories retold by hostages and captives.

The book also contains the stories recounted by Turkish citizen Atilla Yumak, who voluntarily joined the ranks of Azerbaijan’s National Army in 1993 and was taken captive, as well as other foreign nationals who showed bravery.

The book aims to look into the realities of the Karabakh War and raise international awareness about it, provide a public insight into the ever-lasting blow suffered by innocent people during the war, and reveal the pain of the victims of Armenian vandalism from their own mouths. The book mentions a number of facts that have been unknown to the public up until now.
