Grave of Azerbaijani soldier died in World War II found

A grave of an Azerbaijani soldier who died in the World War II has been found in Russia.

Axar.az reports citing APA.

Abdul Orujaliyev was killed in 1943 in the fighting near Neshadimovsk village of Krasnodar region’s Slavyansky district.

Local resident Akulina Savchenko with his daughter buried the soldier. His daughter has preserved the grave of the unknown soldier for many years.

As a result of searches, the soldier was identified as A.Orijaliyev. It was decided to bury his body in a mass grave in the village. Officials of the district attended the funeral.

The Azerbaijani side was informed about the issue.
