Investigative group created over murder of Zahra

Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov has made a statement about Armenia’s crimes against Azerbaijani civilians.

Axar.az reports citing APA.

Speaking at an operational consultation held at the Prosecutor General's office, Zakir Garalov said that the investigative group has been created to carry out urgent investigative actions and open a criminal case under relevant articles of the Criminal Code at the Fizuli Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the murder of 51-year-old Sahiba Allahverdiyeva and her 1-year-old granddaughter, the severely wounding of 52-year-old Salminaz Quliyeva as well as deliberate destruction of personal property of citizens as a consequence of the Armenian shelling of Fizuli’s Alkhanli village with heavy artillery from the positions on the occupied territories of Azerbaijan on July 4 in a blatant violation of the ceasefire and norms of international humanitarian law by Armenia’s Armed Forces.
