The National Environmental Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources is conducting an observation in atmosphere of every three hours in Baku and Absheron peninsula.

Axar.az reports citing Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

According to information received from automatic and stationary monitoring stations, the amount of dust in Baku and Absheron peninsula increased by 15:00 in August, and was 40 per cent higher than the sanitary norm on August 23, 2017. It should be noted that at 12:00 this figure was 32 percent.
