Fire localized in Georgia’s Abastumani

The fire in Abastumani resort, in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia, has already been localized.

Axar.az reports citing APA.

Over 1,000 forces were deployed to the resort area to tackle the fire. The helicopters sent from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia were actively involved in the operations to localize the fire. All the open burning areas have almost been extinguished.

Firefighters are still at the scene of the accident.
