The Foreign Ministry has taken action for the kids in İraq

The Azerbaijani embassy in Iraq has begun a research on the Azerbaijani children rescued from ISIL-cleared territories in Iraq.

Ramiz Gafarov, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Iraq, told this to Axar.az. According to him, discussions are underway to bring the children to Azerbaijan.

The ambassador also spoke with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Earlier, Sputnik Azerbaijan released a video about the two-year-old Khadija and a three-year-old Abdulla in the Iraqi lands liberated from ISID. The agency reported that children's parents were killed and they were placed in a shelter in Baghdad.
