Armenians have again resorted to a provocation during the preparations for the International Gastronomy Festival that is underway in Paris, Mirvari Fataliyeva, secretary general of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France and chairperson of the Paris-based “Azerbaijani House” told.
Axar.az reports that Fataliyeva is representing Azerbaijan at the conference that brings together representatives from nearly 40 countries.
“The flag of Nagorno-Karabakh separatists was raised along with that of Armenia in the Armenian tent set up on the campus. However, the provocations were prevented after the intervention of the Azerbaijani diaspora head, and the flag was removed,” she told.
On festival days, Paris residents, as well as tourists from different parts of the world, will be able to get acquainted with examples of Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage. In the event, hot dishes, sweets, and drinks of the Azerbaijani cuisine will be exhibited and their tasting and sale will be available. Moreover, table culture, handicrafts reflecting our history, national art samples, clothes, and accessories will be demonstrated and Azerbaijani music will be played.
