1,8 million tourists visited Azerbaijan in 8 months

1,818,000 tourists visited Azerbaijan in the eight months of 2017.

Axar.az reports that these words were told by said Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev.

According to him, over 46,000 people work in the tourism field: “I thank them. This day must be marked as a holiday in tourism enterprises. Azerbaijan is a stable, safe and hospitable country. Number of people leaving Azerbaijan makes up 4,000,000. This includes al visits. Azerbaijani citizen approximately spend $600 million in the foreign counties, but foreigner spend $700 million in Azerbaijan in a year”.
