Azerbaijan is one of the countries known for their stability, development and progress in the world, President Ilham Aliyev said addressing a ceremony of launching a drinking water supply and sewage system project in the country’s Gobustan city.

Axar.az reports that "now you are witnessing the processes going on around the world. There are many problems in the economic, political and military fields. Risks and threats are growing, blood is spilled, conflicts and wars are erupting, and stability is broken,” President said.

President Aliyev stressed that against the background of all these processes, Azerbaijan is an island of stability and development.

“The well-thought policy, the unity between the people and government, and the sense of patriotism characteristic of our people—these particular factors are the basis of our achievements," he said.
