Snow depth made 20 cm in Azerbaijan

Weather in the country was unstable, lightning, rain observed, intensified as torrential rains and snow observed in mountainous areas.

Axar.az reports citing the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

8-59 mm of precipitation fell in Baku and Absheron peninsula, 22-91 mm in Lankaran-Astara region, 4-20 mm in Greater Caucasus, 3-18mm in Central Aran regions, 9-27mm in Lesser Caucasus, 2-9mm in Gazakh-Ganja region, 3-15 mm in Nakhchivan AR.

Snow depth made 13 cm in Khinalig, 3cm in Laza, 10-20cm in mountainous areas of Lerik.
